In Saltash Sixth Form we run small-sized teaching classes, so all students have access to 1:1 support within lessons from subject specialist teachers. Class teachers will support students if they are struggling, both within lesson time and are able to offer support and guidance beyond the classroom.

Our team of dedicated Sixth Form tutors will work in liaison with class teachers to support students who are finding challenges in their A level studies, and staffed study periods provide a scaffolded environment for students to develop independent learning habits.

Our Sixth Form Raising Standards Lead will work on a 1:1 basis with students who need mentoring in order to overcome academic challenges and to support all students to achieve to the very highest of their own ability.
